"Support for Students in Underprivileged Areas"  Project with Anvar-e-Rahmat

This project was initiated in order to cover the expenses related to the education of 20 students in need of help from the beginning of the 1400-1401 academic year in Jahrom County, Fars Province. After identifying and negotiating with several charitable organizations in Iran, Anvar-e-Rahmat Charity was selected as the partner and executive arm of the project, and we reached an agreement on the implementation method, executive activities, schedule, and other related activities.

The social worker of this project identified 20 priority students (those who do not have an effective guardian) for assistance, and provided NICA with the preliminary evaluation results through interviews and home visits. After that, the students' information, including personal, family, educational, and socio-economic conditions, was prepared in the form of a form and sent to NICA.

From the beginning of the implementation of this project until now, 20 students have benefited from educational items (stationery, textbooks and educational aids, school uniforms, sports uniforms and shoes), mobile phones (during the COVID-19 pandemic), tutoring and reinforcement classes, midterm support, and educational counseling services for 18 months.

Expenses are evaluated monthly by Anvar-e-Rahmat Charity and provided by NICA in the form of goods and items (not in cash) to the students.
